Job Description
Jarden is looking for a Dealer, Derivatives to join our team in Auckland. In this role, you'll manage and grow our client base across our product range, delivering top-tier service and execution in support of our Advisory and Online Sales teams. Given the nature of global markets, the role includes partial coverage of the European shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Execution
Execute market orders accurately and with minimal delay
Manage client orders and provide consistent, precise trade execution
Stay across financial market activity, developments, and trading opportunities - particularly in Commodities, FX and Futures
Sales & Income
Promote our services to new and prospective clients, contributing to business development and active trading relationships
Grow brokerage and broader revenue through strong client coverage, cross-selling and increased wallet share
Deliver a professional client experience and keep CRM records accurate and up to date
Work with counterparties to ensure trades, call levels and orders are filled and entered correctly and on time
Liaise with external clients and internal Advisory and Online Sales teams, as well as counterparties
Desired Skills and Experience
Strong relationship-building skills and excellent communication, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
High integrity and strong attention to detail
In-depth, current product knowledge across financial markets - ideally FX, Futures & Commodities
At least 3 years' experience in financial markets/financial services
Willingness and ability to obtain relevant qualifications, including NZX adviser designation
